MetalCore originators LIAR have risen from the grave after their break-up two years ago...the band is legendary for it's direct approach and outspoken message, for it's biting, heavy, speeding fast technical metalcore combined with an own trademarking style, better known as 'h8000 edgemetal', an unique style that served them right over 11 years of hard playing,touring and the release of 5 full albums and numberous compilation tracks and exclusive vinyl. 
LIAR have been a definite influence for todays metalcore icons and for many enthousiastic kids worldwide.
This is NOT a reunion, but a comeback, with a strong and solid line-up..five people that do believe in hard work and having fun in what they do.
Shows will be accepted selectively, this in order to cover different area's.

Hailing from the notorious H8000 area in the South-West regions of Belgium and being one of the leading European metalcore bands since early 1995, LIAR has built a reputation for excellence both in the realm of live performance and on their studio efforts. The band is one of the longest lasting European metal-core acts and it's own ways of operating in the extreme music scenes made them who they are today. While there's more and more fashion involved in our underground scene, liar never followed any trends and as a matter of fact are the originators of metalcore in Europe and beyond, many other bands and individuals are influenced by the driving and aggressive music and lyrical content this band is breathing. The band is bringing you the trademarking sound of the old h8000 style blended with a mix of black and trash metal with early 90's hardcore involved.
Liar continues to re-invent themselves, incorporating new elements into their repetoire, while retaining the same core mix of metal and tightness that have served them well in all their past releases. It's a dark and cold world filled with extremity, and Liar takes advantage of it in the musical and lyrical content, this is a band with a message, a band with a statement, a slap in the face of the ignorant.
